At RLS, we’re proud to support Women in HVACR, a national non-profit organization dedicated to career growth for women in the HVACR industry. Three of our team members recently attended the 20th annual Women in HVACR conference, held November 6-8 in Jacksonville, Florida.

Stefanie Boyer and Jennifer Simpson from our customer service team, along with Jessica Slaughter, our marketing manager, joined other women from around the country – including contractors, field technicians, manufacturers, distributors and more – at this important networking and learning event.

With the theme of “Go Bold”, the conference aimed to build strength and confidence in the women who attended, who represent a small minority of the HVACR industry. Along with building relationships with exceptional brands and leaders, the conference featured educational sessions, a welcome reception and an awards ceremony where contractors and apprentices won scholarships and other awards for stewardship and accomplishments within the industry. 

Women in HVACR exists to improve the lives of its members by providing professional avenues to connect with other women growing their careers in the HVACR industry.
