On Thursday, April 18th, we were thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of our long-awaited showroom and training facility at our corporate headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. We also used the occasion to commemorate our new mobile showroom and kick off our nationwide training tour (see full story here).
RLS employees and guests were treated to refreshments and hors d’oeuvres, live music, and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Some of our special guests included the grand prize winner from our AHR Expo “Spin to Win” contest, Mike Cameron, Ben Poole from HVAC Tactical, Pat Finley from Commercial Kitchen Chronicles, and editorial staff from several HVAC/R industry media outlets. Ben and Pat even streamed a podcast direct from the event.
In addition to getting a “sneak peek” at the new showroom (and mobile showroom), guests also received a behind-the-scenes tour of the RLS manufacturing facility, as well as press fitting demonstrations. It was a fun and memorable day for everyone in attendance, and a huge day in the history of RLS, as we demonstrated our commitment to leading the HVAC/R industry in press fitting training.
The showroom and training center is the latest addition to our 80,000-square-foot headquarters facility and will serve as a way to educate contractors, engineers and wholesalers on the latest HVAC/R press technology, and provide training on how successfully install RLS press fittings. Future visitors will be able to participate in live training sessions, gain valuable experience using RLS press tools and fittings, and receive training certification – in addition to touring the RLS manufacturing facility.
To allow visitors to get real-world, hands-on experience using RLS fittings on actual HVAC equipment, the training center feature two GE outdoor mini-split units. A big thank you goes out to GE for generously donating the units.
