In the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, RLS was deemed an essential business – and we are fortunate to have avoided any confirmed COVID-19 cases among our employees – so we have remained fully operational throughout this crisis.
Despite our good fortune so far, we have not taken this situation lightly. The safety and well being of our employees, customers and other partners will remain our top priority. As a result, we have taken numerous steps to limit any possible transmission of the virus, including increased use of PPE, staggered shifts and breaks, enhanced sanitizing, employee health screenings and restricted access to our facilities.
Our outlook on the near future.
As we are seeing more and more construction projects reopening and contractors going back to work, we are fully expecting to see an increase in demand for our products in the coming weeks and months, for two reasons:
1. The backlog of HVAC/R projects due to temporary shut downs.
2. Our unique ability to help contractors make up for lost time with faster installation.
What you can expect from us.
To prepare for anticipated demand, we are continuing to rebuild our inventory (coming off a very strong first quarter). We encourage our distributor partners to do the same, as we want local contractors to have easy access to the products they need to tackle their backlog of work quickly – without the time constraints of brazing. Rest assured that we are fully stocked and ready to fulfill orders at any time.
